A cohesive partnership between functions such as R&D, Production, and Marketing, facilitates development and expansion of new product streams, processes as well as product applications at SIPL.

The R&D department of the company has been one of the driving forces for pursuing new growth areas. The R&D infrastructure in addition to a state-of-the-art lab also includes a dedicated pilot plant for new product initiatives.

SIPL's R&D Lab is recognized by Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR) that comes under the aegis of Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, Delhi.
